Our Second AHBA Herding Trial Champion and Third ASCA Working Trial Champion!!!

HTCH/WTCH Tessa HXBs, HXAc,HXAd, HTD III-s, HRD III-s, ATDscd, CS, TC,  (Prairie Star Ninja X Morrow's Roy) came to us from Mari Taggart Morrison at 12 wks of age and has been a very successful trials competitor for us in AKC, AHBA, ASCA and USBCHA trials.

Tessa has competed in Pro-Novice and Open trials, including placing 5th at the AZ Pumpkin Festival and 9th of 37 at the On-the-Border Sheepdog Trial in Campo, CA, in May 2004. She made her USBCHA Open debut at the Snowbirds On-the-Border Sheepdog Trial over theNew Year's Weekend of 2004/2005.

She is currently working on her AKC Herding Championship and only needs 3 minor points to finish. All of her points have come from the AKC B sheep course.

Since our move to Southwestern VA, Tessa has proven to be quite gunshy. This second year's deer season has seemed to be even more terrifying to her than the first year's deer season. Thus, to avoid additional fear in her life, she has been placed with a dear friend in CA in December 2007. Hopefully she will finish her AKC Herding Championship and run in some more Open or Pro-Novice trials with her new Novice handler. She is very fit for her age so we hope she will be a good teacher to our friend for quite awhile yet to come!
